Parliamentary Roundtable – Raising Awareness About the Independent Review of Prevent, 29 June 2022

On Wednesday 29 June, Forward Thinking facilitated a private roundtable discussion in parliament to raise awareness of the ongoing Independent Review of Prevent. The meeting was hosted and chaired by Afzal Khan, Member of Parliament for Manchester Gorton. Representatives from Muslim communities from across the UK, parliamentarians and other relevant experts participated. The meeting was an opportunity to share insights about the Review before its report is laid before parliament and for parliamentarians to hear perspectives from Muslim communities that may not be included within the Review report.
