Palestinian Women’s Network Roundtable, 31st of July 2022

On 31 July 2022, Forward Thinking facilitated a roundtable discussion with participants of its Palestinian Women’s Network.The group discussed the challenges that women in the Occupied Palestinian Territories currently face.Limited opportunities for meaningful political participation and representation, alongside a lack of legislation that supports women were highlighted as key issues. Societal pressures and gender-based violence are also significant. It was underlined that the challenges women face must be considered within the broader context of Israeli occupation and internal Palestinian political division.
