On 26 February, Oliver McTernan provided guest analysis for BBC World News. During the interview he emphasised the incompatibility of Israel’s war objectives to secure the release of the hostages, and to eliminate Hamas. He stressed that an inclusive process of dialogue, rather than a military approach, is the only means of achieving a durable solution to the conflict.
