HPF Meeting in Helsinki with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health - 7 July 2021

The Helsinki Policy Forum (HPF) met with Sarita Friman, the Director for International Affairs at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, and Kaisa Lahdepuro, a Senior Specialist in the International Affairs Unit of Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, in Helsinki. During the meeting, they discussed HPF's Health Working Group and avenues for improving collaboration and cooperation between the health ministries of various countries in Europe and the MENA-Gulf region. Issues such as vaccines, the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach to the pandemic, and the potential for building health aspects into policy-making were all touched upon.
