Forward Thinking hold meetings in Ankara, 14-15 February 2022

Between the 14th-15th February, Oliver McTernan and Jordan Morgan travelled to Ankara. Meetings were held with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Head of the Foreign Affairs Committe and the Chairman of the AK Party to discuss the Middle East Programme. Discussions aimed to build a better understanding of Turkey’s policies toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the region. During the visit, they also had an opportunity to meet with the Iranian Ambassador to Turkey.
