"Exploring the role and focus of the EEAS" - Forward Thinking hold meetings in Brussels, 14th January 2020

Members of the Forward Thinking team visited Brussels on the 14th of January for meetings with a number of European institutions, particularly the European External Action Service (EEAS). The purpose of the visit was to introduce new members of the team and hear more about the foreign policy priorities of focus of the European Union, given the new Presidents of the European Council and European Commission.Jordan Morgan and David Lee were also able to meet with the EU's Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, Ms Suzanne Terstal, during the visit to discuss recent developments in the conflict and Forward Thinking's work in the Middle East Programme.Meetings were organised with representatives from the European Parliament and the European Endowment for Democracy to discuss other aspects of Forward Thinking's work.
